Elevator Pitch No.2

Just as a reminder -- I changed my business idea for the class!

All of the feedback that I received on my last pitch was very positive.  What stood out to me was the importance of having a well-spoken message that clearly elucidates your purpose as an entrepreneur and that demonstrates passion for what you do. I believe all of the feedback that I received was very useful and insightful, as they emphasized the importance of getting straight to the point -- what the problem is, and how you as an entrepreneur plan to deliver the solution. The plan of bringing a positive change to this world is incredibly valued, and so for this pitch of a more developed idea, I decided to emphasize how I would differentiate myself from competitors. I also decided to change from the last pitch by elaborating in greater detail how the business would operate and how exactly it would achieve its long-term goal of environmental sustainability.

  1. Hey Liana, great job with the elevator pitch! I think you have a great idea. I believe people would love to visit your local coffee shop since the experience you describe sounds incredibly wonderful and unique. I also love that you are so focused on being socially responsible. As a society, we need more companies that are committed to not only making money, but also making the world a better place. Keep up the great work!

  2. Hey, LianaI watched your elevator pitch video. You have a good idea. The coffee shop businesses’ market is almost full. You thought about ecofriendly agriculture. You specified local coffee house, fresh environment, and force education. The educational trip for employees and loyal customers are an excellent concept. Because this is an opportunity to make good communication between employer, employees, and customers, everybody will enjoy the trip.

  3. Hi Liana,
Great pitch. I would buy your coffee. I had Starbucks the other day and it was just watery syrup couldn't even finish it. I like that you tied in your previous pitch to this idea. I think developing your coffee around a community rather than just a service is a great way to promote a business, in a world where food chains dominate. There's a vegan coffee shop in Savannah that's really popular and one of the reasons is it's message and quality.

Final Reflection

As I look back on all of my old posts, I've come to realize how much I've grown in this class and as an individual ...
